ECB holds rates: deposit rate stays at 2.50%

The ECB left its key rates unchanged on 29 October. Tracker repayments stay where they are until at least 17 December.

Tracker repayments don't change. Lenders set variable rates themselves; with the ECB on hold, a lower rate is more likely to come from switching than from waiting.

The next ECB decision is on 17 December.
